General

The things everyone asks first

Both. Most customers choose supply-and-fit — we source the materials and handle everything, so there's one person responsible for the whole job. If you've already bought materials or a kitchen from a supplier, we're happy to quote for fit-only work too.

Every job is priced individually after a measure, because materials, room shape, and finish options change the figure. As a rough frame: fitted wardrobes typically start in the low thousands per room, and bespoke kitchens from the mid-thousands. You always get a fixed, itemised quote before any work starts — so there are no surprises.

We're based in Drogheda, Co. Louth and cover East Meath — including Duleek, Laytown, Bettystown, Julianstown, and Ashbourne. If you're just outside that list, ask — we can often make it work.

Call 085 201 1923, email hello@mscarpentry.ie, or use the contact form on the contact page. We'll arrange a home visit to measure and talk through options, then send you a fixed, itemised quote — free and with no obligation.

It depends on the job. Fitted wardrobes typically take two to three weeks from measure to install, and a bespoke kitchen around four to six weeks from design sign-off. Smaller jobs — doors, flooring, a one-off piece — are usually quicker. You get a firm install date before any work starts.

Yes. We work in new builds, period houses, and everything in between. New builds often need made-to-measure storage because the standard sizes don't suit the rooms; older homes bring their own character — uneven walls and non-standard openings — which bespoke joinery handles well.

Solid timbers like oak and walnut, quality sheet materials, and veneers — chosen to suit the job and the budget. At the measure we'll talk through the options, show you what each looks like, and recommend what will wear best in your home.

Very little. Clear the area we're working in as best you can, and we'll handle the rest — we protect floors and surfaces, work tidily, and take our dust sheets and offcuts with us when we leave.
