Fitted wardrobes in Drogheda, made to measure
Fitted wardrobes in Drogheda typically take two to three weeks from measure to install, built to the millimetre for rooms where off-the-shelf simply doesn't fit.
The short answer
Fitted wardrobes from MS Carpentry typically cost between €1,500 and €6,000 supplied and fitted in Ireland, depending on the width of the run, the interior fittings, and the finish — the exact figure is fixed after a free home measure, and you get an itemised quote before anything is built. Most customers choose full supply-and-fit: we design the wardrobe, build it in the workshop, and install it ourselves. If you've already bought a wardrobe elsewhere, fit-only work is fine too. From measure to install, allow two to three weeks.

Sound familiar?
Stand-alone wardrobes leave a dead gap at the top, dead space at the sides, and never reach the ceiling — so you're paying for storage you can't use.
A chimney breast, an alcove, or an attic slope means no off-the-shelf wardrobe fits — and the space sits empty while clothes pile up elsewhere.
Your current setup is all rail and no drawers, or all shelves and nowhere to hang a coat. You need an interior planned around what you actually own.
Mismatched furniture and cluttered surfaces make the room feel smaller. Fitted wardrobes give you a clean, built-in look that's made for the space.

What's included
From first sketch to the final door
A fitted wardrobe is a piece of furniture built into your room. Here's what the job covers when we take it on.
- Full home measure and design. We measure the room properly, plan the interior around how you store clothes, and give you a clear design with a fixed, itemised quote.
- Made-to-measure carcasses. Every wardrobe is built in the workshop to your room's exact dimensions — floor to ceiling, wall to wall, with no wasted gaps.
- Interior planned around you. Hanging rails, shelving, drawers, and shoe storage arranged to suit what you actually own — not a one-size-fits-all layout.
- Hinged or sliding doors. Plain, panelled, or mirrored doors in your choice of finish, with soft-close hinges and smooth-running sliding gear as standard.
- Materials and finishes. Hardwoods like oak, ash, or walnut, or paintable boards for a sprayed finish in any colour, with handles in brass, black, or stainless.
- Tidy install and walkthrough. Floors and surfaces protected, everything levelled and adjusted, and a final check of every door and drawer with you before we leave.

Common questions
Questions about fitted wardrobes
Most fitted wardrobes we build in Drogheda and East Meath cost between €1,500 and €6,000 supplied and fitted, depending on the width of the run, the number of doors and drawers, the interior fittings, and the finish you choose. That is a realistic frame rather than a fixed price — every wardrobe is priced individually after a free home measure, and you get an itemised quote before anything is built.
Both. Most customers choose the full bespoke route — we design the wardrobe, build the carcasses and doors in the workshop, and install them. If you've already bought a wardrobe system from a supplier and need a wardrobe fitter in Drogheda to install it properly, we're happy to quote for fit-only work too.
Fitted wardrobes in Drogheda typically take two to three weeks from measure to install. The build happens in the workshop, so the on-site install itself is usually one to two days depending on the size of the run. You'll have a firm install date before the build starts.
Yes. We build hinged and sliding wardrobes to the millimetre, and we can fit out a walk-in wardrobe in Meath homes with a mix of hanging rails, shelving, drawers, and shoe storage. Because everything is made to measure, we work around sloped ceilings, chimney breasts, and awkward corners that off-the-shelf wardrobes can't touch.
Wardrobes can be built in hardwoods like oak, ash, or walnut, or in high-grade paintable boards for a sprayed finish in any colour. Interiors can be melamine, timber veneer, or painted, with soft-close hinges and drawer runners as standard. Doors can be plain, panelled, mirrored, or fitted with handles in brass, black, or stainless finishes.
Day to day, a soft damp cloth and mild washing-up liquid is all the doors and interiors need — avoid abrasive pads and bleach-based sprays. Painted finishes can be wiped clean the same way, and small knocks can be touched in with matching paint. At handover we leave you with specific care advice for the exact materials and finishes used in your wardrobes.
