Fitted kitchens in Drogheda, made for your home
A bespoke fitted kitchen in Drogheda typically takes four to six weeks from design sign-off to final fit — designed around your room, built in the workshop, installed by the same person who made it.
The short answer
A bespoke fitted kitchen from MS Carpentry typically starts in the mid-thousands, with the final figure fixed after a home measure — you get an itemised quote before anything is built. Most customers choose full supply-and-fit: we design the kitchen, build the cabinetry in the workshop, and install it ourselves. If you've already bought a kitchen elsewhere, fit-only work is fine too. From design sign-off to final fit, allow four to six weeks.

Sound familiar?
Standard units come in fixed sizes, so the chain-store design leaves dead corners, filler panels, and a fridge sticking out past the cabinets.
Chimney breasts, boxed-in pipes, sloped ceilings, or a galley shape — the off-the-shelf planners simply draw around them, wasting the space.
Swollen chipboard doors, drawers that won't close, hinges pulling out of the carcass — patching it up again costs nearly as much as doing it properly.
You've heard the stories of kitchens ripped out for weeks. Because the build happens in our workshop, the messy on-site part is days, not weeks.

What's included
From first sketch to final door adjustment
A fitted kitchen is a piece of furniture for your whole room. Here's what the job covers when we take it on.
- Full home measure and design. We measure the room properly, plan the layout around how you cook, and give you a clear design with a fixed, itemised quote.
- Made-to-measure cabinetry. Every cabinet is built in the workshop to your room's exact dimensions — in hardwoods like oak, ash, or walnut, or paintable boards for a sprayed finish in any colour.
- Worktops, sinks, and taps fitted. Solid timber, quartz, or laminate worktops templated and installed, with sinks and taps plumbed in and sealed.
- Soft-close hardware as standard. Quality hinges and drawer runners in brass, black, or stainless finishes — no slamming doors.
- Appliance integration. Housing units built for your oven, hob, fridge, and dishwasher — freestanding or fully integrated, your call.
- Tidy install and walkthrough. Floors and surfaces protected, everything adjusted and levelled, and a final check of every door and drawer with you before we leave.

Common questions
Questions about fitted kitchens
Every kitchen is priced individually after a home measure, because the size of the room, the materials you choose, and the finish details all move the figure. As a rough frame, a bespoke fitted kitchen typically starts in the mid-thousands and rises with size and specification. You always get a fixed, itemised quote before any work starts, so there are no surprises.
Both. Most customers choose the full bespoke route — we design the kitchen, source the materials, build the cabinetry in the workshop, and install it. If you've already bought a kitchen from a supplier and need a kitchen fitter in Drogheda to install it properly, we're happy to quote for fit-only work too.
A bespoke fitted kitchen typically takes four to six weeks from design sign-off to final fit. The build happens in the workshop, so the on-site install itself is usually two to four days depending on the size of the room. You'll have a firm install date before the build starts.
Yes. Because every cabinet is made to measure, we design around your existing appliances, plumbing positions, and any awkward features like chimney breasts, sloped ceilings, or boxed-in pipes. If you're changing the layout, we'll flag anything that needs a plumber or electrician at the design stage so the schedule stays realistic.
Cabinetry can be built in hardwoods like oak, ash, or walnut, or in high-grade paintable boards for a sprayed finish in any colour. Worktops are typically solid timber, quartz, or laminate, and we fit whichever you choose. Handles, hinges, and drawer runners are soft-close as standard, with brass, black, or stainless finishes available.
Day to day, a soft damp cloth and mild washing-up liquid is all the cabinetry needs — avoid abrasive pads and bleach-based sprays. Painted finishes can be wiped clean the same way, and small knocks can be touched in with matching paint. At handover we leave you with specific care advice for the exact materials and finishes used in your kitchen.
